Citizens wishing to perform transactions over the amount of Rs. 50,000 must own a PAN Card of their own for a safe, successful transaction. Documents Required for PAN Application

The following proofs are required while applying for a PAN Card in India.

  • Identity Proof
  • Address Proof
  • Date of Birth Proof

Documents usable as Identity Proof

  • Aadhar Card Issued by UIDAI
  • Arms License
  • Driver’s License
  • Passport
  • Pensioner Card
  • Photo Identity Card Issued by the Central Government
  • Ration Card
  • Voter’s ID Card

  • Aadhar Card Issued by UIDAI
  • Bank Account Statement (Not more than three months old)
  • Consumer Gas Connection Card (Not more than three months old)
  • Electricity Bill (Not more than three months old)
  • Telephone Bill (Not more than three months old)
  • Driver’s License
  • Employer Certificate (Original)
  • Passport OR Passport of the Spouse
  • Property Registration Document
  • Voter’s ID Card
  • Water Bill (Not more than three months old)

All of the above mentioned documents are accepted as address Proof. Finally, Here is the list of date of documents accepted as date of birth proof.

Documents usable as DOB Proof

  • Aadhar Card Issued by UIDAI
  • Central Government Health Scheme Card
  • Domicile Certificate issued by Government
  • Driver’s License
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Passport
  • Pension Payment Order
  • Photo ID Card Issued by Government
  • Voters ID Card

These are the Documents you can submit for Date of Birth verification.

Submission of Aadhar Card, Voter’s ID Card or Passport is personally recommended by us they allow verification of all the proofs required for a PAN.

You don’t have to submit the original version of these documents but the copy version of them. there are many documents usable in the process but the list above covers most of the common ones used by the users.
